The Leaway is an urban landscape project to join up existing pathways into a continuous walking and cycling route from the London Olympic Park to the River Thames. It is a catalyst to regenerating what was once an industrialised Lea Valley, acting as a backbone of green infrastructure to new parklands and urban development. Since making these photos in 2016, I have led walks along several sections of the Leaway for RIBA and for photography groups.
