I am continuing to work through photographs made last summer around the idea of four years on from London 2012. The International Quarter is a mixed development built on land that was the security and ticketing area during the Games. I’ve yet to discover what the vacant plot in the foreground is to be used for.
Continuing with photographs made four years after London 2012; this is White Post Lane in Hackney Wick and Kings Yard, notable as the building that escaped demolition in 2007 and is now part of the Olympic Park Energy Centre.
Unintentional but interesting - an image about architecture seems instead to be about surveillance.
A photo walk along The Line to this sculpture - A Bullet from a Shooting Star - by Alex Chinneck.
Returning this month to continue photographing East Village, four years on from the 2012 Games.
