    Saddlers House, East Village (March 2017) It is over three years since the first residents moved into East Village, formerly the London 2012 Athletes’ Village.  Next month, I will be leading an architectural walking tour for the RIBA Friends of Architecture to view this legacy of the Games.  More information and some places still available on  the RIBA website.

    Construction site in front of Vesta House (August 2016) Construction work in East Village on the foundations of the N08 development includes a 30 storey tower and another that is slightly smaller.  Hard to see how it won’t overbear the existing uniformity of the Athletes’ Village buildings and especially Vesta House.
