Rotherhithe Street

Historically, this maritime London village was where the first of London's great trading docks was built, establishing connections to Canada, the Baltic and Scandinavia. After the docks were closed, the wharves of Rotherhithe were some of the first in London to undergo regeneration changing derelict warehouse buildings into residential flats and loft-style apartments.

Discover four hundred years of architectural heritage on a walk that follows the longest street in London, Rotherhithe Street, before scaling Stave Hill for spectacular scenery and a view of how much has changed.
